On Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, and New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, Agricola, Eleven Witherspoon Street in Princeton, New Jersey, will be celebrating the holiday season by serving special four and five course menus, respectively.

On Christmas Eve, the restaurant will be accepting reservations from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and will be serving a four course prix-fixe menu…

First Course (Choice of One): Pumpkin Soup: Nutmeg Cream, Toasted Seeds; New York State Quail: Applewood smoked Bacon, Chestnuts; Smoked Whitefish: Fingerling Potato Salad, Toasted Mustard Seed Vinaigrette; Brussels Sprouts Salad: Caramelized Pearl Onions, Oyster Mushrooms, Herbed Vinaigrette

Second Course: Slow-Roasted Chioggia Beet Salad: Oranges, Coach Farm Goat Cheese, Balsamic

Third Course (Choice of One): Wild Atlantic Salmon: Cabbage, Chives, Black Truffle; Millbrook Venison: Sweet Potato, Sour Cherry Peppercorn Sauce; Creekstone Farms Braised Beef Short Ribs: Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes, Horseradish Red Wine Sauce

Endings (Choice of One): Teho Chocolate Pecan Pie: Vanilla-Buttermilk Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce; White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake: Sugar Cookie Crust, Candy Cane Crumble; Citrus Profiteroles: Orange Dreamsicle Ice Cream, Grapefruit Reduction, Lemon Crystals

The cost of the Christmas Eve four-course prix-fixe menu is $65.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity); $35.00 for children 14 and under (plus tax & gratuity).

On New Year’s Eve, the restaurant will be serving a five-course prix-fixe and will be accepting first seating reservations from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and second seatings reservations from 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Second Course: “Dirty Vegetables”: Sherry Vinaigrette, Black Truffles

Third Course (Choice of One): Red Wine Braised “Kobe” Beef Short Ribs: Roasted Marble Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Glazed Pearl Onions; Grilled New York State Quail: Soft Castle Valley Mills Polenta, Sautéed Farm Greens, Porcini Mushrooms; Cape May Day Boat Sea Scallops: Fingerling Potatoes, Max’s Smoked Salmon “Salad,” Champagne Butter

Cheese: Valley Sheppard Creamery “Pepato”: Roasted Sweet Peppers, Arugula Vinaigrette

The first seating is priced at $65.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity); the second seating, which also includes 2 complimentary glasses of Champagne, is priced at $110.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
