Feast in the Fields2On Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17, South Jersey Hot Chefs continue a new and different tradition – not by taking the food to the guest but the guest to the food. Guests are invited to an evening of dining with Chef Fred Kellermann of Elements Café in Haddon Heights on the 1895 Organic Farm in Lumberton, New Jersey, for Feast in the Fields 2014.

Hors d’Oeuvres: Bruschetta du Jour… Beet & Goat Cheese Crostini… Grilled Vegetable Summer Roll… Crab Salad on Rye with Fresh Sliced Cucumber & Sorrel… BBQ Beef Slider with Carrot Slaw

First Course: Chilled Green Gazpacho Soup topped with Cucumber Fizz

Second Course: Roasted Potato Salad with Bacon Vinaigrette and Poached Egg

Main Course: Herb-Grilled Chicken & Lobster with Corn, Tomato, White Bean, and Red Pepper in a Light Basil Broth

Dessert Course: Frozen Ice Cream Parfait, Sugar Cookies, and Just Picked Watermelon

*Vegetarian meals available upon request at time of reservation.

August 16 and August 17… rain dates August 23 and August 24 – $50.00 per person, all-inclusive.

Approximate starting time is 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 4:00 p.m. Sunday for hors d’oeuvres; dinner beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. Saturday and 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
