Chakra InteriorOn Wednesday, March 25, 2015, Chakra Restaurant in Paramus, New Jersey, will host a special five-course wine dinner paired with the exotic whites and spicy reds of southern France. Special guest of the evening will be Michele Zuckerman, CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine).

First Course: Fisher Island Oysters, Orange Blossoms Granité; Wine Pairing: Sauvignon Blanc, Ladoucette 2011, Pouilly-Fumé, Loire

Second Course: Lobster & Sweetbreads, Marcona Almonds Raviolo, Beurre Noisette; Wine Pairing: Marsanne, M. Chapoutier Chante-Alouette 2012, Hermitage

Third Course: Fowl “Pot au Feu,” Black Truffles; Wine Pairing: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre Château La Nerthe, Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2010, Rhone Valley

Fourth Course: Beef Wellington, Jersey Winter Vegetables; Wine Pairing: Syrah, Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas La Louvée 2006, Rhone Valley

Fifth Course: Teté de Moine, Figs, Red Wine Rye; Wine Pairing: Grenache, M. Chapoutier 2013, Banyuls, Roussillon
