Celebrating Christmas at Crystal Springs Resort

Crystal Springs - ChristmasCrystal Springs Resort, 1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, New Jersey, will provide a festive backdrop for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations, offering three dining options at the restaurants of their Grand Cascades Lodge.

Restaurant Latour will serve a special five-course menu highlighting flavors of the season and luxury ingredients. Dinner begins with Amberjack Crudo with toasted pecans and blood oranges, followed by Acquerello Risotto topped with white truffles. Hudson Valley Foie Gras is accompanied by spice brad and quince, while Saddle of Lamb is served with endive, olives and herb jus. For dessert, Roasted Chestnuts are paired with caramelized white chocolate, bitter chocolate sponge, and preserved cherries. The cost of the special menu is $125.00 per person; $190.00 with wine pairings (plus tax & gratuity). The regular five-course menu will also be available. Restaurant Latour will be open 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve; and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Crystal Tavern brings a New American approach to Christmas with a three-course menu featuring Shrimp & Grits with red eye gravy, Rib Roast with Yorkshire pudding and spinach, and a Yule Log with chestnut cream. Crystal Tavern will be serving this special menu from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The cost of the special three-course menu is $65.00 per person; $94.00 with wine pairings (plus tax & gratuity). The à la carte menu will also be available from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. each day.

Springs Bistro will serve a four-course menu inspired by the Feast of the Seven Fishes. A Seafood Salad of shrimp, tuna, cuttlefish, squid, and octopus is an aquatic feast. This will be followed by a Kale Salad with pecorino and anchovy vinaigrette. The Roasted Branzino is accompanied by fennel, olives, and arugula. For dessert, a rich Budino is served with whiskey cherries. The cost of the four-course menu is $69.00 per person; $98.00 with wine pairings. The regular à la carte menu will also be available. Springs Bistro will be open 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

At Minerals Resort & Spa, Route 94, Vernon, New Jersey, Kites will be serving a four-course menu on Christmas Eve from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The menu features choices for each course, including Apple Parsnip Bisque, Cedar Smoked Pork Belly, Lingonberry Glazed Goose Breast, and Birch Braised Beef with maple roasted potatoes. The cost of the special four-course menu is $65.00 per person; $88.00 with wine pairings.
