Nicholas Hosts Summer Harvest Dinner

On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, 7:00 p.m., Restaurant Nicholas Nicholas - Taste of Spring Wine Tastingin Red Bank, New Jersey, will host a special dinner featuring the rich rewards of the Garden State’s local farms and fishermen. This one-night-only menu will highlight all of the summer’s bounty at the very peak of the season.

First Course: Heirloom Tomatoes, Oasis Farms Goat’s Milk Ricotta, Japanese Eggplant; Wine Pairing: Château Gassier – Esprit Rosé 2015

Second Course: Barnegat Light Scallops, Wax Beans, Jersey Potato, Cider Vinaigrette; Wine Pairing: Domaine Magellan AOP Languedoc Blanc 2014

Third Course: Pan-Roasted Local Golden Tile, Crispy Pork Belly, Jersey Corn Chowder; Wine Pairing: Beringer Chardonnay Napa Valley Private Reserve 2014

Fourth Course: Dealaman Farm Suckling Pig, Butcher Grits, Smoked Jersey Peach Barbecue Sauce; Wine Pairing: Chad Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Fifth Course: Yogurt Sponge, Blackberry Jam, Lemon Shortbread; Wine Pairing: Château Viella – Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh Moelleux 2012
