On Friday, August 17, 2018, 6:30 p.m., the Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster, New Jersey, will host an encore California wine dinner, featuring the classic grape varietals of this famous and diverse wine growing state.
Executive Chef Kevin LaFemina will create a multi-course menu to pair with the wines; and Chris Cree, New Jersey’s only Master of Wine, will guide guests through the evening. All wines tasted will be available for purchase.

Amuse – Squash Blossom: Olive, Ricotta, Basil; Wine Pairing: To Be Determined
First Course – Hamachi Crudo: Summer Melon, Fennel, Cucumber, Radish; Wine Pairing: 2014 DuMol Chardonnay, Russian River Valley
Second Course – Ricotta Gnocchi: Eggplant, Cherry Tomato, Pancetta, Pecorino Sardo; Wine Pairing: 2016 Anthill Farms Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
Third Course – Niman Ranch Sirloin: Parisienne Gnocchi, Zucchini, Tomato, Roasted Peppers; Wine Pairing: 2014 Bucklin Old Hill Ancient Field Bend
Cheese – Cheddar; Wine Pairing: 2016 Hourglass GH III Cabernet Blend
The price of the encore California wine dinner is $115.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). The first California wine dinner, held on August 10th, was so popular it sold out well in advance.
