saltgastropubSalt Gastropub in Byram Township will host a special beer dinner on Wednesday, April 1st. Friends are invited to come and compare some of the best Belgian brews with American brewers’ versions and also enjoy great food to compliment each beer pairing. The special speaker of the evening will be Mr. Bob Hanniman.

1st Course:

Moules Frites – Mussels steam in Belgian Ale with Garlic & Parsley with Crisp Hand-Cut Fries

Belgian Style: Anderson Valley Brother David’s Triple, CA


2nd Course:

Creamy Belgian Endive Soup with Crisp Herbed Baguette Croutons


Belgian: Corsendonk Pale Ale

Belgian Style: Four Plus Monkshine Belgian Style Ale, UT


3rd Course:

Warm Chicory Salad with hand-Cut Lardons


Belgian: St. Bernardus Wit Beer, Belgian White Ale

4th Course:

Carbonades Flamandes – Traditional Belgian Stew from the area of Flanders; cooked in Belgian Abbey Beer. The spicy and sweet flavorings have been an integral part of the Belgian palate and cuisine since the Middle Ages.
