tortillapresschef3Since previous vegetarian dinners have been so well received, tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, chef/proprietor Mark Smith of the Tortilla Press in Collingswood, NJ, is offering a special five-course vegetarian tapas dinner. (The restaurant’s regular menu will also be available for those who just can’t give up the meat!)

 

First Course…Appetizer:

Mini Spinach, Potato & Leek Tacos with Goat Cheese, Pine Nuts & Smoked Sweet Chili

 

Second Course… Salad:

Fire-Grilled Cactus Leaves & Quinoa Salad with Lemon Oregano Vinaigrette

 

Third Course… Soup:

Roasted Mushroom & Barley Soup garnished with Chili-Fired Mushroom Chips

 

Entrée:

Black Bean & Cheese Gorditas with Guajillo Chili Sauce & Mexican Crème garnished with Fresh Chopped Onion & Mexican Crème served with Cilantro Rice

 

Dessert:

Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Cajeta

Vegan Coconut Flan
