Valentine’s Weekend at Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille and the Madison Hotel

valentine2On Saturday evening, February 12th, diners are invited to an unforgettable dinner dance under the stars in the conservatory of the Madison Hotel, Morristown, New Jersey, or they may choose the special Valentine’s weekend dining options at Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille.


The dinner dance on Saturday, February 12th, begins with flutes of Champagne and strawberries offered by white-gloved butlers upon arrival at the glass-enclosed conservatory. A glorious array of butler-styled passed hors d’oeuvres, captain stations, and cold displays will tempt the palate. The 4 ½ hour open bar will feature premium liquor, wine, beer, and soft drinks, as well as cordials and international coffees.


From a delectable appetizer of Maryland crab cakes to an intermezzo course of passion fruit sorbet, the sit-down dinner will be a gastronomic adventure. Entrée choices from pan-seared filet of salmon to roasted Chateaubriand are followed by a decadent dessert.


The cost of the evening is $250.00 per couple; and you may continue the romance and spend the evening at the Madison Hotel for a special rate of $119.00 from February 12th – February 14th.


Romantic celebrants may also choose the option of dining at Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille, which is located in the Madison Hotel, from Saturday, February 12th, through Monday, February 14th. A special dinner-for-two will feature jumbo shrimp cocktail, Chateaubriand Bouquetiere, and a delicious dessert. The meal is $129.00 per couple (plus tax & gratuity). Rod’s à la carte will also be available on Saturday and Sunday evenings.


On Valentine’s Day, Monday, February 14th, Rod’s is offering a special holiday menu featuring a three-course prix-fixe dinner. Diners may choose from appetizer selections such as the Grille’s signature crab bisque, petite crab cakes, and seared sashimi ahi tuna; entrées will range from filet mignon to broiled twin lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing. A luscious dessert will conclude the evening of gourmet dining. The cost is $68.95 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
