bistro-lepic5One of my favorite dining haunts, Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar, 1736 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC, will be serving both lunch and dinner on Mother’s Day, this coming Sunday, May 8th. A special prix-fixe menu will be offered; no regular menu will be available.

Yellow Corn Soup, Maryland Crabmeat

Homemade Duck Foie Gras Terrine ($5.00 Supplement)

Endive Salad, Asian Pears, Walnuts, Roquefort Cheese

Grilled Shrimp Salad, Baby Arugula, Lemon-Lime Vinaigrette


Main Courses:

Stuffed Quail Confit, Wild Mushrooms, Braised Savoy Cabbage, Shallot Sauce

Sautéed Soft Shell Crab, Spinach, Lemon Caper Butter Sauce

Rack of Lamb, Green Beans, Purple Potato Au Gratin, Confit Garlic Sauce

Salmon Steak, Leek Fondue, Sorrel Sauce

Plate of Assorted Spring Vegetables
