“All Things Local” Dinner at the Silverspoon, Wayne, PA

For one special Sunday evening each month, the chef and staff of the Silverspoon, 503 West Lancaster Avenue, Eagle Village Shops, Wayne, Pennsylvania, create a seasonally themed one-of-a-kind dinner menu. This month’s dinner, scheduled for Sunday, July 21st, will feature midsummer favorites paired with local beers to complement each dish.

The delicious six-course menu and beer pairings are noted below…

Course One: Ceviche, Laughing Bird Shrimp, Bay Scallop, Calamari, Citrus Saison Marinade, Plantain Chip; Brew Pairing: Yard’s Saison, Philadelphia, PA

Course Two: Braised Garden Path Farm Lamb Meatballs, Summer Vegetable Ratatouille, Keswick Creamery Feta, Marjoram; Brew Pairing: Weyerbacher Merry Monks, Easton, PA

Course Three: Crispy Fried Pork Belly, Grilled Summer Stone Fruits, Frisée Lettuce; Brew Pairing: Sly Fox, Route 113 IP, Phoenixville, PA

Course Four: Paella, White Shrimp, Clams, Di-Bruno Bros Chorizo, English Peas, Crispy Fried Chicken Skin, Saffron, Arborio; Brew Pairing: Victory Summer Love Pale Ale, Downingtown, PA

Course Five: Short Rib, Lancaster County Braised Angus Beef, Local Corn Tommenator Cheese Fondue, Crispy Sweet Onions; Brew Pairing: Troeg’s Troegenator Double Bock, Hershey, PA

Course Six: Dessert: Lancaster Brewing Co.  Strawberry Wheat Beer Ice Cream Float, Milk Stout Whoopie Pie

Reservations for this special dinner will be accepted from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.. Menu items and beer pairings are subject to change based on availability. Beers are not available for sale or refills.
