New Year’s Eve Dining at Restaurant Serenade

serenade1Restaurant Serenade, 6 Roosevelt Avenue, Chatham, New Jersey, will be celebrating the Near Year with a special menu and seasonal cocktails.

 

There will be two seatings on New Year’s Eve: “Twilight,” starting at 5:30 p.m., with a 4-course menu; and “Gala,” at 9:00 p.m., which will feature a 5-course menu, Champagne toast, music and dancing.

 

New Year’s Eve “Twilight” Menu…

 

First Course:

Panache: Smoked Salmon Roulade, Avocado, Nantucket Bay Scallops, Crispy Parsley

 

Second Course:

Ravioli: Braised Beef Short Ribs, Sun Choke Velouté, White Truffles, Parmesan Foam

 

Entrée (Choice of):

Lobster: Roasted, Haricots Verts, Caramelized Salsify, Lobster-Citrus Emulsion

John Dory: Seared, Meyer Lemon Risotto, Stuffed Piquillo Pepper, Bouillabaisse Broth

Beef: Filet Mignon, Potato Purée, Baby Carrots, Creamed Spinach, Truffled Potato Chips

Lamb: Rack, Potato Gnocchi, Spaghetti Squash, Asparagus, Tomato Broth

 

Dessert: Serenade New Year’s Eve Sampler

Chocolate Gâteau, Lemon Macaroons, Baked Alaska, Apple Strudel

 

The 9:00 p.m. “Gala” menu is the same as above, but will also include a cheese course (Comté, Mahon, Robiola Rocchetta: Quince Paste, Fresh Fruit, Sourdough Bread) and a midnight Champagne toast (Billecart-Salmon, Brut Reserve NV).

 

The “Twilight” menu is priced at $85.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity); the “Gala” menu is $195.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Restaurant Serenade will also be open for regular dinner service on New Year’s Day.
