Still More Easter Culinary Happenings: Nicholas and the Pluckemin Inn

nicholas5Restaurant Nicholas in Middletown is now accepting reservations for Easter dinner on Sunday, April 12th. Reservations will begin at 2:00 p.m. and extend until 8:00 p.m.

 

A three-course menu will be offered at $59.00 per person; a four-course garden menu at $59.00; and a six-course tasting menu at $79.00. A children’s menu will also be available at $28.00.

 

Appetizer choices will include:

Seared Foie Gras, Spiced Pear Tarte Tatin, Rum Caramel Sauce ($5.00 supp)

Green Asparagus, Chanterelle Mushroom Ragout

Crispy Pork Belly, Tamarind Cashew Vinaigrette, Pickled Kumquat

Seared Day Boat Sea Scallops, Frisée & Bacon, Roasted Garlic Broth

 

Main course choices will include:

Maple-Glazed Easter Ham, Spring Vegetables & Whipped Yams

Seared Chatham Cod, Manila Clams, Red Pearl Onions & Chowder Sauce

Braised “Pulled” Suckling Pig, Poached Quince & Cinnamon Jus

Seared Long Island Duck Breast, Duck Leg Confit, Guava Purée, Duck Jus

Roasted organic Chicken, Baby Vegetables & Whipped Potatoes

pluckemin-2The Pluckemin Inn in Bedminster will offer three- and four-course options on Easter Sunday, April 12th. The three-course menu is priced at $65.00 per person; the four-course menu at $75.00 per person. Seatings will be available from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
